BHOPAL: Two suicide incidents were reported in the city in the last 24 hours on Sunday.
A 42-year-old marble floor cleaner hanged self to death in Tulsi Nagar in Ashoka Garden area on Sunday. As per Ashoka Garden police, deceased Makbool, 42, son of Mahboob Ali, basically hails from Sagar district and here he resides at Tulsi Nagar in Hinotiya area. He did marble cleaning and polishing work.
On Saturday night he hanged self to death and till Sunday late morning when he didn’t open the door, neighbours were suspicious and when they peeped inside house, they spotted hanging body of the deceased and then they informed the police. No suicide note has been recovered.
Meanwhile, a middle aged man committed suicide at his residence following dispute with his wife in Housing Board Colony under Aishbagh police station on Saturday night. As soon as deceased’s wife spotted her husband’s hanging body, she called their neighbours and the matter was reported to police.
According to Aishbagh police, deceased was identified as Rajkumar, 35, son of Munnalal Nath, a resident of house no A-493 at Housing Board Colony. On Saturday night, he had a dispute with wife after which Rajkkumar locked self in bedroom where he hanged himself.
As soon as his wife, spotted her husband’s hanging body, she called her neighbour Rashid Ali with whose help the body of deceased was took down and when they checked, Rajkumar was dead. Later police were informed regarding the incident and his body was sent to post-mortem examination at Hamidia hospital.
