Honda Amaze Gets Costlier: Prices Increased by Rs 30,000 After Introductory Offer Ends

Honda has launched the all-new Amaze, focusing on safety as part of its global vision to eliminate traffic collision fatalities by 2050.

With the introductory offer ending on January 31, Honda has revised the prices of the third-generation Amaze. Starting February 1, 2025, the compact sedan has become costlier by up to Rs 30,000, depending on the variant. The price adjustment follows the conclusion of the promotional period, making the new rates applicable across all trims.

Honda Cars India has made price adjustments across the variants of the third-generation Amaze, with the highest hike of Rs 30,000 applicable to the top-end ZX MT and ZX CVT variants. Other trims have seen a price increase ranging from Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000. In a positive move for customers, Honda has also eliminated the color premium on the ZX MT variant, keeping its price under Rs 10 lakh.

Honda has launched the all-new Amaze, focusing on safety as part of its global vision to eliminate traffic collision fatalities by 2050. Equipped with Honda SENSING, the segment-first Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), the Amaze becomes the most affordable ADAS-equipped passenger car in India. Since its introduction in 2013, the Amaze has been a cornerstone for Honda, winning the trust of over 5.8 lakh customers and reinforcing its strong presence in the compact sedan segment.

The new Amaze boasts dimensions of 3995 mm in length, 1733 mm in width, and 1500 mm in height, offering a well-balanced stance. Its 2470 mm wheelbase ensures generous interior space, while the 172 mm ground clearance enhances its ability to navigate diverse road conditions. With 416 liters of boot space and a turning radius of 4.7 meters, the Amaze is both practical and easy to maneuver, catering to the varied needs of Indian consumers.

Under the hood, the Amaze is powered by a refined 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine, producing 90 PS at 6,000 rpm and 110 Nm of torque at 4,800 rpm. Buyers can opt for a CVT automatic transmission with a fuel efficiency of 19.46 km/l or a 5-speed manual transmission offering 18.65 km/l, according to test data. This combination of performance and fuel efficiency ensures a smooth and balanced driving experience, whether in city traffic or on highways.
