On the Eid weekend, devotees planning a visit to the BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi would be required to undergo a pre-registration on the temple website. The religious site mandated this procedure expecting huge rush on the festive holiday. Ahead of the joyous occasion, the Abu Dhabi Police and the temple authorities issued guidelines for those devotees and guests wanting to take darshan here during Eid 2025.
A registration in advance was made mandatory. The registration would provide particular slots to visitors, assisting the management to facilitate the crowd in a better way.
"Given the unprecedented demand to visit BAPS Mandir Abu Dhabi, pre-registration is mandatory. Walk-in visitors without prior registration may not be able to enter due to capacity constraints", the press release by the BAPS Mandir Abu Dhabi read. "The Mandir has expanded its on-site parking facilities and introduced shaded areas", it stated further while reflecting on the arrangements being made to ensure a comfortable experience for visitors.

It was learned that the temple, inaugurated on February 14, 2024, welcomed over 2.2 million visitors in its first year. According to the release, more than 60,000 devotees took darshan during the Eid weekend of 2024.
Noting the overwhelming interest, all visitors were urged to register in advance to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience.
