We all are aware of the fact that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a yoga enthusiast and the brain behind establishing ‘International Yoga Day’ (June 21). Last year, in 2018, Modi released a nearly two-minute long video of him doing yoga asanas on the lawns of his Lok Kalyan Marg home. In the video, he can be seen walking, doing yoga and stretching on a rock, walking along a narrow path, and doing some breathing exercises. No wonder the video went viral. The video was part of a fitness challenge thrown by Indian cricket team skipper Virat Kohli.

While accepting the challenge Modi tweeted, “Challenge accepted, Virat! I will be sharing my own #FitnessChallenge video soon. @imVkohli #HumFitTohIndiaFit”

PM Modi posted a video of his fitness regime on Twitter in response to Virat Kohli. He tweeted, “Here are moments from my morning exercises. Apart from Yoga, I walk on a track inspired by the Panchtatvas or 5 elements of nature - Prithvi, Jal, Agni, Vayu, Aakash. This is extremely refreshing and rejuvenating. I also practice breathing exercises. #HumFitTohIndiaFit”

Later, PM Modi passed on the challenge to HD Kumaraswamy, the Chief Minister of Karnataka, who tweeted that he is more concerned about the fitness of his state.

Well, this was not the end of the fitness challenge and the video posted by Modi. In fact, it became humorous content for the netizens. And soon jokes and memes started flooding on social media.
