A Bengaluru-based Uber bike rider claimed in a video that he earns ₹80,000 per month, leaving netizens stunned. The footage shared by the social media handle 'Karnataka Portfolio' recorded a biker revealing that he rides 13 hours a day to attract the huge pay.
The man highlighted how his hard work and dedication towards the bike taxi service bring him the earning. Speaking in Hindi, he said on camera that he makes ₹80,000 monthly for the efforts he puts towards his work.
"I earn this sum by only riding Uber for 13 hours. People might laugh today but if we give time to work, it pays off", he said.

The person shooting the video interrupted his talk and pointed out that he, believed to be a corporate worker, didn't earn as much as the Uber rider did.
To this, the rider agreed and said, "This much salary is not given by (corporate) companies too". He proudly mentioned that he is not working under a boss or a manager at a office, rather he rides his bike and facilitates customers in the city. "I am my own boss. There's no one to instruct me as well", he said while not feeling stressed about his job.
The man who recorded the video of the Uber rider concluded the interaction by saying, "It was good meeting you". However, netizens wondered whether people were happy or rather jealous on knowing a Uber rider made more money a month than office-goers.
Netizens react to viral video
"Much respect for you sir, it's not easy 13hours drive every day. Inspirational it is", one user commented. "Rs.80000 is not possible, if we get proper trips on time also we will earn Rs.1000 excluding all expenses", another wrote. "Obviously the Aggregators want to create stories like this to escape the regulatory framework. Ask him how many hours he worked, how many trips he made and the cookie will crumble", netizens wrote.
