Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh), July 24: A shocking video of a horrific accident has surfaced on social media. The incident occurred in Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur where a speeding SUV rammed into the divider on the highway and spun on the road like a toy car.
Details About The Incident
The video shows that a high-speed Mahindra Scorpio SUV loses control and crashes into the divider on the highway shortly after crossing Bara Toll Plaza which falls under the Akbarpur Police Station area in Kanpur Dehat. The horrific accident was caught on the CCTV cameras installed on the highway and the video is going viral on social media.
No Casualties
The impact was so intense that the car bounced after hitting the divider and spun around five to six times and then stopped. Luckily, there was no other vehicle speeding behind the Scorpio. The impact would have caused major damage to the people present inside the vehicle.
Police Action
There are reports that there was no casualties reported in the accident. Police reached the spot quickly, removed the damaged vehicle, and confirmed that traffic was restored smoothly.
The police replied to the video being shared on social media and said, “There has been no loss of life in the incident. The crashed vehicle has been removed promptly, and traffic is flowing normally.”
