Rarely have we heard of an animal being dipped in the Ganga. A video is going viral on social media which has angered animal lovers.
The video shows a man dipping a puppy in the Ganga multiple times, as the animal can be seen resisting and trying to free itself. The video was posted on X by an account, "@TheAdorablePups", with the caption "In our country, all the sorrows, pain and sins are washed away by taking a dip in the Ganga water. I thought of giving the dog a dip in the Ganga water as well."
The video has triggred reactions from netizens on X. One of the users said, "Why would you do that to an animal? They don’t know and more importantly, don’t care about the rituals. This is animal abuse and this bumbling bafoon should be arrested!!!!"
"One of the most polluted rivers in the world. I'm sure he meant well but doesn't look nice for the poor puppy I'm afraidl," another user said.
