If there's something Mumbaikars deeply love, it's the monsoon. Despite the water-logging, power cut, late local trains and numerous other issues, monsoon has its own charm in Mumbai. Going to Marine Drive and drenching in the rain while watching the big waves is something that every Mumbaikar enjoys.
After struggling with all the heat in summer and Cyclone Tauktae, Mumbai finally seems a little calm today. Dark clouds have taken over Mumbai skies and cool breeze is knocking on the windows when June has almost arrived.
This has delighted all the rain-loving Mumbaikars who are eager to say goodbye to May and its heat. Numerous Mumbaikars are taking to Twitter today to share pictures of the beautiful weather that is hinting at the arrival of the monsoon.
One Twitter user wrote, "Rains are such a joy on the island city! Light breeze and cool weather with a hint of petrichor makes for a brilliant day in Bombay! Monsoon Mubarak!"
Another wrote, "thanks to the rains, the heat no longer bothers me."
