Haryana Appellate authority for Advance Ruling (AAAR) announced that as much as 18 percent of Goods and Services Tax Council GST would be levied on the pizza topping, as the add on isn't a pizza in itself. However, to the unversed, the GST rate on a pizza base, ordered separately, is 12 %. This resulted into netizens expressing disappointed on social media, with 'Pizza' making to the top trends on Twitter.
