In a peculiar turn of events, a man has made an unusual demand for a wife from the Rajasthan government, garnering widespread attention as his application circulated on social media. The incident took place at an inflation relief camp in the Baharawanda block of Dausa district on June 3.

Kallu Mahwar (40), a resident of Gangadwadi village in Sikrai subdivision, submitted the application, stating that he is alone and struggling to manage household responsibilities. Interestingly, the concerned Tahsildar, Harikishan Saini, forwarded the application to the Patwari, urging him to address the matter by forming a team to find a suitable spouse.

Kallu Mahwar specified certain criteria for the desired wife, including being slim, fair, aged between 30 and 40, and proficient in household chores. However, in response to the application gaining widespread attention on social media, Tehsildar Harikishan claimed that some miscreants were responsible for the incident. As of now, no action has been taken regarding the application, and it is unlikely to be pursued further.

The letter was shared on Twitter on Monday and caught the eyes of netizens in no time. Over 22,000 people viewed the tweet and hundreds liked it on the microblogging site.
