Gauri Dhavalikar, a Goan pilot welcomes her father and former Goa Minister, Deepak Dhavalikar on a Chennai to Goa bound IndiGo flight. The heartfelt gesture is going viral on the Internet with netizens pouring hearts on the father-daughter bond. Gauri Dhavalikar was serving as the First Officer on the flight from Chennai to Goa. She made a touching in-flight announcement and thanked her father for his support.
'A Very Special Flight'
Gauri's announcement video is going viral on the Internet and winning hearts of the netizens. In the video, captain Gauri Dhavalikar can be seen making in-flight announcement coming in front of the passengers which usually pilots don't do. Gauri introduces her father to the passengers and mentions that this is 'a very special flight' for her.
She said, "My father is travelling with me today on this flight. It's the first time I'm taking him back home to Goa where I'm the pilot of the flight, and he's the passenger."
While ending the announcement, ackowledging the appreciation by the passengers, Gauri mentioned, "A special thank you to my father for giving me the whole world and making all my dreams come true."

Who Is Deepak Dhavalikar?
Deepak Dhavalikar is a former two-term member of the Goa Legislative Assembly. He represented the Priol constituency from 2007 to 2017. Dhavalikar serves as the president of the Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party (MGP) and has played key role in keeping the party alive in Goan politics. He was a cabinet minister in the Government of Goa for the period 2012–2016.
