Finding a room on rent in a busy city is always a very difficult task. As if that isn't enough, landlords sometimes impose restrictions and rules that are so bizarre that following them becomes an instant headache.
In one such viral post on Twitter, a weird condition has been posted by a landlord while giving an advertisement for a room in a newspaper. In the widely shared tweet, the advertisement says, "1 Bedroom Apartment. All utilities included. No poets. No smoking. Available July 1st."
The "No poet" part of the advertisement has Twitterati laughing out loud.
Making a poetry out of the situation itself, one Twitter user commented, ""I'm just an ordinary man seeking housing. A shelter for when the rain's dousing." "Even though you don't know it, it seems you're a poet," said the landlord, his suspicions arousing."
Another user commented, "Of course it is. They'd try and pay the rent with sonnets or free verse and use words like "philistine" when you turn them down."
In fact, the replies are much more hilarious than the tweet itself. Here's look at some of the most funniest replies and comments that people have made on the "no poets" advertisement.
