Actress Tunisha Sharma was found dead on the sets of her show 'Ali Baba: Dastaan-e-Kabul' on December 24, post which her co-star and ex-boyfriend Sheezan Khan was arrested for abetting to her suicide.
While he continues to be in police custody, Tunisha's mother has now come to the forth with some shocking claims about him cheating on her daughter and even physically assaulting her.
Addressing the media on Friday, Tunisha's mother said, "I will not sit quietly until Sheezan is punished. Tunisha checked his phone once and found that he was cheating on her. On questioning Sheezan, he slapped her."
Sheezan consumed drugs: Tunisha's mom
Not just that, but Tunisha's mother went on to say that Sheezan used to consume drugs on the sets of their show, and that he had also forced the actress to embrace Islam.
"Tunisha informed me that Sheezan used to consume drugs on the sets. There were changes in Tunisha's behaviour. Sheezan forced her to follow Islam. He forced her to wear hijab as well. She also posted on her Instagram that morning but what happened after that, we have no idea," she stated.
The Waliv police also mentioned that as per the CCTV footage recovered from the sets, a heated argument had occurred between Tunisha and Sheezan before her death.
Sheezan did not call ambulance: Tunisha's mom
The bereaved mother told the media, "Sheezan took her from the room but did not call the ambulance (after she was found hanging in the room). This can also be a murder."
She added, "My daughter had no disease. I will not spare Sheezan. My daughter has gone and I am alone now."
Sheezan's lawyer's statement
Sheezan Khan will continue to remain in police custody until Saturday.
His advocate told the media, "In the investigation, it has become clear that police has no evidence against Sheezan. All allegations made by Tunisha's mother are baseless. Police is investigating the case, we should wait. I am very confident that Sheezan will be proven not guilty."

Tunisha was found dead on the sets of her television show on December 24, Saturday. She hung herself in the makeup room of her show 'Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul'.
Tunisha was reportedly depressed for several days prior to her death because of her break up with co-star Sheezan Khan. The two allegedly broke up just 15 days before the actress claimed her life.
The actress was cremated in Mira Road on Tuesday in the presence of her close friends and family members.
