Amid ongoign IPL 2025, Team India's T20 captain Suryakumar Yadav along with his wife Devisha, decided to seek some divine blessing. Mumbai Indians are currently in Lucknow to face Lucknow Super Giants on Friday, April 4th. Taking some time from the hectic schedule SKY reached Ayodhya with his wife on Thursday.

Hanumangarhi's chief priest Hemant Das made Suryakumar Yadav offer prayers. After offering prayers at Hanumangarhi, he paid a visit to the Ramlala temple in Ayodhya. SKY arrived at Ayodhya temple wearing a yellow kurta-pyjama and a saffron scarf around his neck. There was a crowd of people waiting to get a glimpse of him.

Suryalumar Yadav archives major milestone during MI vs KKR match

During the recent match against defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders on Monday in Mumbai, Suryakumar Yadav became only the fifth Indian batter to compete 8,000 runs in T20 cricket. Suryakumar reached the milestone in his 312th innings in the format. He averages of 34 in T20s with a strike rate of 152. He joins Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan and Suresh Raina in the club. Kohli is India’s leading scorer in the format with 12,976 runs followed by Rohit who has accumulated 11,838 runs.

Whats next for Mumbai Indians?

The Mumbai Indians will face Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on Friday, April 4, at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. Super Giants after losing their previous clash against Punjab Kings at home will aim to register their second win of the season. On the other hand, the Mumbai Indians began the season with back-to-back losses, however, they registered an emphatic win over defending champions, Kolkata Knight Riders, to get their campaign back on track.
