In an unexpected turn of events during the Australia vs England Champions Trophy match at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, India's national anthem was mistakenly played instead of Australia’s. The error was quickly noticed, and Australia's national anthem was played soon after.

The incident left spectators surprised, and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has formally raised the issue with the ICC, demanding an explanation.

According to a source, the PCB questioned how India's anthem was included in the playlist, especially since India is not playing in Pakistan during the tournament. However, ICC is yet to respond to the matter.
