Chennai: Former Pakistani pacer and legendary cricketer Wasim Akram came down heavily on Pakistani cricketers after their humiliating loss to Afghanistan in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 match at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. This is the third upset in the 2023 edition of World Cup so far. Earlier, Afghanistan beat England and Netherlands beat South Africa in the other upsets of the World Cup 2023.

Wasim Akram raised grave concerns over the fitness of the Pakistani players as they were sloppy in the field and were not able to stop the ball from going to boundaries.
