Indian leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal and his wife, choreographer and internet personality Dhanashree Verma, are rumoured to be heading for a divorce after just over four years of marriage. Sources close to the couple suggest their relationship is on the verge of breaking down.
Chahal seemingly posted a a cryptic and mysterious Instagram story, hinting at recent developments in his personal life. The post read, "Hard work spotlights the character of people. You know your journey. You know your pain."
The post further said, "You know what all you have done to reach here. The world knows. You stand tall. You have worked with all your sweat to make your father and your mother proud. Keep standing tall like a proud son always."

Reports are further stating that the couple has unfollowed each other on social media, and Chahal has deleted all pictures with Dhanashree from his account which has increased the speculation of their relationship issues. Dhanashree’s profile, however, still features pictures with Chahal, though she has also unfollowed him, indicating a possible breakdown in their relationship.
Amidst the challenges of the COVID lockdown, Chahal and Dhanashree's love story unfolded. Their initial connection was based on dance, with Yuzvendra expressing interest in Dhanashree's online classes. The couple started as students and teachers, but their virtual classes paved the way for a deep emotional connection beyond just dance.
The couple surprised fans by tying the knot in an intimate ceremony in Gurugram on December 22, 2020. The rumors about their divorce first emerged in 2023 when Dhanashree removed 'Chahal' from her Instagram bio. Coincidentally, Yuzvendra shared a cryptic post that read, "New Life Loading."
