BCCI Announces Fixtures For New Zealand's White-Ball Tour Of India & Confirms Schedule Of 2025-26 Domestic Season

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the schedule of the 2025-26 domestic season. Additionally, the board has also confirmed the itinerary for New Zealand's white-ball tour of India in early 2026 ahead of the T20 World Cup set to be hosted by India and Sri Lanka.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the schedule of the 2025-26 domestic season. Additionally, the board has also confirmed the itinerary for New Zealand's white-ball tour of India in early 2026 ahead of the T20 World Cup set to be hosted by India and Sri Lanka.

New Zealand's tour of India commences on January 11, with the three ODIs set to be played on January 11, 14 and 18 in Vadodara, Rajkot and Indore. Meanwhile, the venue for the T20Is will be Nagpur, Raipur, Guwahati, Vizag and Trivandrum. Below is the itinerary of the Kiwis' tour to India. The T20Is will especially be crucial for both sides in finetuning their combinations and gameplan for the World Cup.

The red-ball domestic season begins with the Duleep Trophy on August 28 at the BCCI's Centre of Excellence, with the final slated to take place on September 15. Meanwhile, Ranji Trophy is divided into two phases, with the first extending from October 15 to November 19. The second phase will be from January 22, 2026 to February 1 2026. The final has been scheduled for February 28, 2026.

India's domestic white-ball season to begin on November 26

Meanwhile, India's premier 50-over competition of Vijay Hazare Trophy starts on December 24. Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Rajkot and Bengaluru will host the fixtures and the final is slated to take place on January 18.

The Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy starts on November 26 and is set to end on December 18.
