Indian cricket Sachin Tendulkar made the best use of April Fool's Day to prank his friend. In a video shared by him on Instagram, his friend hugged a look-alike of Sachin mistaking him for the Indian cricket legend. The look-alike burst out into a rant, which embarrassed Sachin's friend, only for him to step in and reveal the set up.
"Are they really your friends if you haven’t pranked them?" Sachin posted on his social media accounts.
In the video, Sachin can be seen readying his crew, with his look-alike, Balvir Darshan Chand, seated on a sofa. The cricket legend's friend arrives, mistakes the look alike for Sachin and hugs him from behind. Chand, staying true to character, lashed out at Sachin's friend who looked shocked and surprised to discover that it was not his friend.
"Are Kaun hai Bhai? Maaf Nahi hai, aapne mujhe Chhua kaise? Are Bhai Kaun Hai Ye? [Who are you? No apologies, how dare you touch me?]" Chand can be seen saying on the video.
He was embarrassed and had his head down before Sachin jumped in and revealing the prank himself.
"Pakk gayi bhai, biryani, dum waali, pakk gayi," Sachin said reveling in his latest prank.
Even before his April Fool's prank, Sachin has long had a reputation for being a prankster. Tendulkar often played pranks on his teammates during his playing days.
