The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Thursday announces a cash reward for India's victorious ICC Champions Trophy 2025 contingent. Team India under Rohit Sharma's captaincy beat New Zealand in Dubai on 9th March to win their third ICC Champions Trophy and first since 2013.
The BCCI decided to give ₹58 Crore as financial recognition honour the players, coaching and support staff and members of the Men’s Selection Committee for winning the ICC tournament. BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia, speaking to ANI, gave details about the distribution of the cash prize.


Cash Reward breakdown
Players: Each player in the winning squad will receive ₹3 crore.
Head Coach: Gautam Gambhir will also be awarded ₹3 crore for his leadership.
Assistant Coaches: The remaining coaching staff, which includes Ryan Ten Doeschate, Abhishek Nayar, batting coach Sitanshu Kotak, and bowling coach Morne Morkel, will receive ₹50 lakh each.
Support Staff: All other support staff members will also be given ₹50 lakh each.
BCCI Officials: The BCCI officials involved in the team's success will receive ₹25 lakh each.
BCCI presidents lauds Team India's performance at Champions Trophy
Team India remained undefeated throughout ICCC Champions Trophy while playing all their matches in Dubai due to Hybrid model. India dominated the tournament, registering four commanding victories en route to the final. The team began their campaign with a solid six-wicket win over Bangladesh, then secured a convincing six-wicket triumph against Pakistan. They continued their momentum with a 44-run victory over New Zealand before ultimately overcoming Australia by four wickets in the semi-final.
BCCI President Roger Binny lauded the team, stating, “Winning back-to-back ICC titles is special and this reward recognizes Team India’s dedication and excellence on the global stage. The cash award is a recognition of the hard work that everyone puts in behind the scenes. This was also our second ICC Trophy in 2025, following the ICC U19 Women’s World Cup triumph"
