In a shocking news from Latur in Maharashtra, Latur Municipal Corporation Commissioner Babasaheb Manohare shot himself in the head with his own pistol at 11:45 pm on Saturday night and is being treated at a private hospital in Latur.
Babasaheb Manohare shot himself with three bullets from his own pistol, one of which went through his brain and two missed. The incident took place at around 10:45 pm on Saturday night. His family members immediately admitted him to Sahyadri Hospital in Latur at around 11:30 am. He was treated and underwent surgery at 2 am.
As per the report by Loksatta, the doctor treating him, Hanumant Kinikar, said that his condition is still serious.
The exact reason why Babasaheb Manohare shot himself is still under investigation.
Condition critical
According to the information given by Dr. Hanumant Kinikar, Director of Sahyadri Hospital, Latur, the bullet that Babasaheb Manohare shot in the head has passed through the right side. This bullet broke Babasaheb Manohare's skull, and the bullet came out of his head. Some parts of Babasaheb's brain have also been damaged. Some pieces of the broken skull have spread to Babasaheb Manohare's brain. Information about how this surgery was carried out is not yet available. However, it is said that Babasaheb Manohare's condition is still critical.
Sources have informed that the doctors are making every effort to save Babasaheb Manohare's life.
