In a shocking incident in Pune, a cop killed self in the jurisdiction of Lonavala police near Tiger Point in Lonavala after allegedly hanging himself from a tree.

The diseased has been identified as Anna Gunjal who worked as Police Sub-Inspector in Khadaki Police. He was part of the investigation team at Khadki Police Station, tragically ended his life by suicide.

Gunjal had been absent from work for three days and was unresponsive to calls. Khadki police were preparing to report him missing on Friday. The preliminary information is that he took the step due to family reasons.

His family and coworkers couldn't get in touch with him during this period. His body was found hanging from a neighboring tree shortly after his car was recovered this morning close to Tiger Point.

The event has shocked the Pune police department, and investigators are trying to figure out what happened before the PSI made its terrible choice. After a thorough investigation, more updates are anticipated.

Last year, in April, a police constable on night duty died by suicide in Pune by shooting himself on the premises of Lohiya Nagar police work station.
