The Pune Zila Parishad has organized the 'Divisional Mini Saras and District Level Sales Exhibition Savitri Jatra 2025,' which will run from today until March 10, from 9 am to 9 pm. The event will be held at the PAgricultural College, Shivaji Nagar Pune in Pune.
This exhibition is being conducted under the Maharashtra State Rural Livelihood Improvement Mission (UMED), aimed at promoting the economic upliftment of women’s self-help groups. The sales exhibition will provide a platform for showcasing and selling goods and food items produced by these women.
In addition to the exhibition, women self-help groups will participate in various cultural activities, including elocution, dance, and singing competitions, as well as programs highlighting the significance of the mission, its employment opportunities, and the role of these groups. The event will also feature the distribution of awards and the organisation of games.
