Jalgaon: Thanks to the effective planning and rigorous implementation of funds under the District Annual Plan (DPDC), Jalgaon district has once again emerged as the top-performing district in the state in terms of fund utilisation, marking its fourth consecutive year at the forefront. Under the aegis of the District Planning Committee, the administration has successfully achieved 100% utilization of the entire allocated fund of ₹834.6189 crore for the financial year 2025-26. This funding, earmarked for the effective implementation of various government schemes across different departments, covers the General, Tribal Sub-Plan (TSP/OTSP), and Scheduled Caste Sub-Plan (SCP) categories.

Significantly, this record-breaking feat has been accomplished for the fourth consecutive year. Speaking on the occasion, District Collector Rohan Ghuge reiterated his resolve to maintain this momentum in development works in the future, aiming to bring about positive transformations in the lives of the citizens.

In recognition of this remarkable administrative achievement, senior district officials were felicitated at the hands of the District Guardian Minister, Gulabrao Patil. The officials honoured included District Collector Rohan Ghuge, Chief Executive Officer Minal Karanwal, Superintendent of Police Dr Maheshwar Reddy, District Social Welfare Officer Yogesh Patil, Yawal Project Director Arun Pawar, and heads of various other government departments.

Addressing the gathering on this occasion, Guardian Minister Patil stated, "The 100% utilisation of funds serves as a tribute to the trust reposed by the public. By working in a systematic and planned manner, the administration has upheld this trust. This success is a testament to effective planning and teamwork; the administration has consistently maintained the stance that every single rupee belongs to the public and must be utilised for its intended purpose." Expending 100 per cent of the allocated funds for four consecutive years is a significant achievement for the administration.

Underlying this success is the coordination among all departments, the diligent efforts of officers and staff, and a deep-seated commitment to the public. The felicitation ceremony held today serves not merely as an honour but as an inspiration to strive for even greater excellence in the future. Guardian Minister Gulabrao Patil has appealed to all departments to continue working in coordination and to keep contributing to the development of the district.

Of the total funds sanctioned for the district, the entire amount totalling ₹8,346,18,900₹646,189,000 has been fully utilised. This comprises ₹677 crore for the General Component, ₹93 crore for the Scheduled Castes Component (SCP), and ₹64,61,89,000 for the Tribal Sub-Plan (TSP/OTSP). Through the utilisation of these funds, various development works have gained momentum, and numerous schemes are being effectively implemented across both rural and urban areas.
