A shocking CCTV footage of vandals destroying 10 to 12 vehicles, including nine two-wheelers, one auto-rickshaw and one four-wheeler, from Pune's Kondhwa area has gone viral on social media.

According to the information received, the incident took place on Tuesday night in Lane Number 4, Lakshmi Nagar, Kondhwa.

Sources said that approximately 12 to 14 people have filed an FIR in connection with the incident.

Vinay Patankar, Senior Police Inspector (Kondhwa Police Station), speaking to The Free Press Journal, said, "The identification of the goons is underway. We are analysing the technical evidence, and soon all the accused will be arrested and will face strict legal consequences."

On the condition of anonymity, a local resident said that a few days ago, near Lane Number 9, Swarajya Chowk, notorious criminals set around 12 vehicles on fire. "These criminals have no fear of the police and are committing crimes daily. Citizens of the area are facing multiple inconveniences, and the police have closed their eyes," he added.
