Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut on Saturday alleged that the central probe agencies including the Enforcement Directorate, the CBI and Income Tax are running a criminal syndicate in Mumbai and they are big extortionists and he will expose them. Raut further announced that he will also expose one of the biggest scams involving ED next week.
Raut said truckloads of proof of corruption involving ED and BJP will be presented in the presence of a large number of Shiv Sainiks to ED in its office situated in South Mumbai, adding that thereafter ED will run away after closing its office.
Raut turned to Amitabh Bachchan’s dialogue in the Hindi movie Shahenshah saying that’’’Rishtey mein to hum tumhare baap lagte hain,’’ (“In a relationship, I am your father).’’ He argued that he and the Shiv Sena are not at all deterred by corruption charges made against them by BJP and being probed by roping in ED, CBI and Income Tax but they will be strongly retaliated. He also took on Union Minister Narayan Rane who is firing salvos against the Shiv Sena and the party president and Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.
''Narayan Rane is threatening that he has our horoscope. Stop giving threats. We too have your horoscope. You might be Union Minister but this is Maharashtra. Don't forget this. We are your 'baap', you very well know what that means," said Raut. He added that Rane and BJP should not give empty threats as the Shiv Sena is prepared to counter them.
Raut claimed that the central probe agencies have looted Maharashtra by indulging in extortion and ransom. ‘’I will reveal the information about how Maharashtra was looted and crores of rupees were embezzled. Anyone (ED, CBI, Income Tax) who wants to come to us must come. One day they will have to leave this place with a black face. I will expose the criminal syndicate of central investigation agencies,’’ he said.
