Thane doctor wins prize in Pune for contribution across Maharashtra during COVID-19 period

Dr. Archana Kailash Pawar 42, a dental surgeon from Thane civil hospital wons the 2nd runner up "MEDIQUEEN" Mrs Maharashtra 2021 -season 2021 held in Pune. Pawar got the title as Vivacious and was also nominated for social services.

Seeing the efforts of doctors across Maharashtra during the pandemic, the medico pageant was organised for all Allopathy i.e all specialties including dental, Ayurved, homeopathy and physiotherapists. It was an honour for female doctors not only for their style but also for the social work they have been doing selflessly for the society. This pageant is a unique celebration of their professional achievements, hobbies, talent, personal fitness and various other attributes because with all these, they are making society a better place to live in.

Archana Pawar claims the program was held in Pune on July 13, 14 and 15 where participants were from different categories. Pawar participated in the category for married female doctor's above 23 years of age. "Starting with an introduction session, the event had different session to show our talent including singing, dance, ramp walk, speech on Women health and for betterment of society to others," added Pawar stating the event was to believe healthy women can make healthy society, and hence their motto was 'Niramaya ',"added Pawar.

The First winner in the event was Dr Revita Rane, MBBS from Solapur, 1st runner up was Dr Rupali Kamble from Pune, 2nd runner up was Dr Nisha Pansare MBBS from Pune and Pawar.
