Thane: 23-Year-Old Delivery Man Commits Suicide By Hanging Himself From Fan, Investigation Underway

A 23-year-old delivery man died after committing suicide by hanging himself from the fan with the help of a rope in his home in Thane on Monday evening. The deceased has been identified as Arbaz Samir Khan, 23, who lived with his parents and family members in the Rabodi area of Thane.

Thane: A 23-year-old delivery man died after committing suicide by hanging himself from the fan with the help of a rope in his home in Thane on Monday evening. The deceased has been identified as Arbaz Samir Khan, 23, who lived with his parents and family members in the Rabodi area of Thane.

The suicide incident came to light when Samir did not open the door of the house on Monday evening. The police said that Samir was alone in the home while his parents went outside for some work. After seeing that the door was locked, the neighbors and parents attempted to unlock the door and discovered that Samir was hanging. They immediately pulled him down and rushed him to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Hospital in Kalwa, where the doctor pronounced him dead on arrival.

Hemant Patil, a senior police inspector from Rabodi Police Station, said, "We have filed an Accidental Death Report so far. During the preliminary investigation, we have not found any suicide note in his possession. We are carrying out further investigation into the matter."
