Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt (61) was admitted to Lilavati Hospital (Bandra) on Saturday evening, after he complained of chest discomfort and had fluctuating oxygen saturation level.
The actor was tested for COVID-19 through rapid antigen test, and his report came out negative. His swab was also been taken for RT PCR tests, whose results were also negative.
The actor is admitted in a non-COVID ICU ward where the doctors are carrying out further investigations.
Hospital sources stated that Dutt is in a stable condition and non-COVID treatment protocols are being followed.
"The patient is safe and is out of danger. His COVID report is negative and the hospital is following non-COVID treatment procedure. He doesn't have any serious co-morbidity issues and doctors have kept him for further medical observations" stated the source.
The actor, too, tweeted about his health and assured that he was doing well. "Just wanted to assure everyone that I’m doing well. I’m currently under medical observation & my COVID-19 report is negative. With the help & care of the doctors, nurses & staff at Lilavati hospital, I should be home in a day or two. Thank you for your well wishes & blessings," Dutt said.
