Navi Mumbai: The Navi Mumbai Metro inches towards reality as it received the Dynamic Clearance Certificate from the Central Ministry of Telecommunications for phase 1 from Belapur to the Pendhar section. This clearance is an important step towards starting the metro line for passengers.
According to CIDCO officials, the planning agency received the clearance on September 24 from the Central Ministry of Telecommunications for phase 1 from Belapur to the Pendhar section. The next step is getting the independent signaling assessment certificate.
Earlier, the RDSO concluded the oscillation trial on September 14 for which the CIDCO is waiting for the clearance. Once the RDSO clears the oscillation trial, the commissioner of railways safety CMRS can begin.
Sanjay Mukherjee, vice chairman and managing director of CIDCO said, “Dynamic Clearance of Department of Telecom and Safety case certificate marked an important milestone for the Navi Mumbai Metro project. The next step is going to be ISA certification. After receiving the RDSO certificate, CMRS trials can begin.”
The Navi Mumbai Metro Project undertaken by CIDCO will be completed in 4 Phases.
