Navi Mumbai: Full list of COVID-19 vaccination centres issued by NMMC for July 22; only second dose of Covaxin will be administered

Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) issued a list of COVID-19 vaccination centres for beneficiaries on July 22. The vaccination centres shall be open for those who want to take second dose of Covaxin. No doses of Covishield shall be administered.

Due to shortage of vaccines there will no vaccination under the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation at any centres except for three centres where only second dose of Covaxin will be administered.

Besides, vaccination for 18-44 years of age and above will also be held.

Drive-in vaccination will not be conducted while persons with disabilities will be given token on priority.

It also said that due to low availability of vaccine to the citizens coming to the vaccination center, priority will be given to the residents of Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation area.

Citizens residing under the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) jurisdiction can get all the information regarding the COVID vaccination drive by just clicking a link of civic body’s website. The link has details like the number of vaccination centres, doses available age-wise among others. The purpose of the initiative is to help citizens to plan their vaccination in advance.

NMMC is paying special attention to protecting the maximum number of citizens through COVID vaccination. In order to enable the citizens to get vaccinated easily, 78 vaccination centers with 2 drive-in centers have been set up in the municipal area and more than 100 vaccination centers are planned to be set up immediately to speed up vaccination if more vaccine stocks become available.
