An X user, (@abhiscuba), recently posted a video where a thick smoke is seen caused by a fire that broke out in Mulund's railway freight yard, next to Tata Colony according to the post.

The post caption reads: "Massive fire breaks out near Mulund railway freight yard, next to Tata Colony, since this morning. Thick smoke visible from a distance. Stay safe and avoid the area. #Mulund #MumbaiFire @mulund_info @RoadsOfMumbai @mumbaimatterz"

There is no response from officials to the X post.

Another X user, (@isha_dalvi), raised concerns about possibility of a greenland fire while sharing the image of the fire claiming the smoke is erupting from Mulund Nahur area.

In a separate incident, another video has gone viral showing an auto-rickshaw catching fire on N.S. Road in Mulund West, opposite Syndicate Bank.
