Mumbai: Security beefed up at Mantralaya building after disaster management control room receives bomb threat call

An anonymous threat call was dialled to the Disaster Management Control department of the Mantralaya. The caller informed that a bomb has been planted in the building. Police security at the ministry has been beefed up following the phone call. An investigation into the alleged bomb is underway.

Following the call, police personnel along with Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad teams rushed to the spot and are conducting search.

Prima facie, it seems to be a hoax call. Further inquiry is being conducted.
