As of 9 am on July 7, Mumbai, Maharashtra is seeing light rainfall with a temperature of 29°C. The chance of rain is 25%, and the humidity level is at 80%. The wind is blowing at 31 km/h. The prediction for Monday indicates steady light rain all day, with temperatures hovering around 28-29°C.

The week ahead shows persistent light rain, with a small possibility of isolated thunderstorms occurring on Monday. Daily temperatures will range from 27°C to 29°C, with comparable weather conditions anticipated to continue from Tuesday to Sunday, along with occasional light rain.

Water Level Details

The latest water level report by Hydraulic Engineer's Department outlines lake levels at 6:00 AM on July 7. Upper Vaitarna records a level of 603.81 m, reflecting a 24-hour increase of 0.12 m and 910.00 ML of live storage. Modak Sagar stands at 163.15 m, increasing by 1.85 m, with a functional capacity of 1376.00 ML. Tansa measures 128.63 m, an increase of 1.07 m, with a volume of 1286.00 ML.

The Middle Vaitarna level is at 285.00 m with an increase of 5.31 m, indicating a total usable storage of 1507.00 ML. Bhatsa stands at 77.18 m, indicating a 0.10 m increase and an overall storage of 621.00 ML. Vehar indicates 135.44 m, showing a slight increase of 0.06 m and a cumulative total of 1112.00 ML. Tulai is positioned at 134.30 meters. The rainfall recorded today is 44.00 mm, bringing the monthly total to 674.00 mm. Key observations indicate that 578270 ML of Bhatsa’s total usable content is designated for MCGM utilization, Upper Vaitarna discharges have ceased, and Middle Vaitarna gates remain shut.
