Mumbai: Man held for credit card fraud amounting to Rs11 lakh

A 30-year-old man was arrested on Thursday for allegedly misusing the credit card details of a company and defrauding it of Rs11 lakh.

Mumbai: A 30-year-old man was arrested on Thursday for allegedly misusing the credit card details of a company and defrauding it of Rs11 lakh. The suspect was identified as Prashant Vilas Wan from Badlapur. As per the investigation by the South Regional Cyber Police, he had purchased four mobile phones, two sim cards, one laptop, smart watches, cameras, and a car. All the assets worth Rs7.39 l have been recovered.

A cheating case has been booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code.
