1 more held in Mumbai 'marijuana cake-making bakery' case: NCB
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested one person, a college student, for allegedly running a "marijuana cake baking bakery" in the Malad area in Mumbai. Earlier the agency had arrested three persons in the case.
According to the NCB, the college student was arrested on Saturday during a raid in connection with the case.
"LSD drug has been seized from his possession," the NCB said.
Doctor held for forging papers to facilitate illegal adoption
A doctor from Shivaji Nagar in Mumbai was arrested for allegedly making fake documents of a baby boy earlier to facilitate an illegal adoption, Crime Branch officials said on Sunday.
"One of the kin of the family that adopted the infant boy approached Mumbai police claiming the papers, including birth certificate, seem to be fake. A probe zeroed in on a Shivaji Nagar based doctor, who had told the couple the child was born in his hospital, despite the birth taking place in Rajasthan," the official said.
3 held with drugs in multiple NCB raids
Three people were arrested following raids in separate places in Mumbai by the Narcotics Control Bureau, an official said on Sunday.
Sachin Tupe, Afsar Khan and Fahad Salim Qureshi were held allegedly with LSD blots, mephedrone, cocaine and cannabis, he said.
