Mumbai: Guardian Minister Deepak Kesarkar Assures Action Against Illegal Banners; New Rules on the Horizon

BMC Administrator, Iqbalsingh Chahal had directed officers to take immediate steps to pull down illegal banners but in reality nothing has happened.

Guardian ministers Deepak Kesarkar has assured that action will be taken against illegal banners in Mumbai. During the press meet when he was asked about no action against illegal banners he given the Assurance.

"State government will make a code or rules for the erection of banners in Mumbai." Said Kesarkar

During Ganesh festival many illegal banners were seen in the Mumbai. BMC Administrator, Iqbalsingh Chahal had directed officers to take immediate steps to pull down those banners but in reality nothing has happened.

When Kesarkar was asked if Shinde government is making Mumbai beautiful, and dont take action against illegal banners then how their purpose will become fulfilled on that Kesarkar said.

"Many political events happen in Mumbai and after the event BMC removes those banners within next 48 hours. Moreover, banners which were erected during Ganesh festivals had been removed and will remove if any banners are still there on the street."
