A fire broke out in air conditioning duct at Worli Old passport office which led to a cylinder blast at Old Passport Office in Worli on Friday morning. The cylinder blast was reported at Manish Commercial Centre at Annie Besant Road in Worli. Fire tenders have been rushed to the spot.

A 30-year-old woman was injured after a portion of a building collapsed due to the impact of a blast in liquid nitrogen tank kept in a lab in a building near Worli.
The incident took place around 9 am in 'Century' building at Worli in South Mumbai. The tank, which had capacity to store 250 liters of liquid nitrogen, suddenly exploded in the lab housed in the building. A portion of the building collapsed due to the blast. Fire brigade and police personnel rushed to the spot, where the debris removal work was underway.
