Mumbai: Mohan Golap, a 24-year-old resident of Chembur, tragically died in an accident near Wadala railway station.
Golap, who worked at Indigo Press in Cotton Green, was traveling with his friend, Nikhil Bansode, from Cotton Green to Chembur. At around 8:40 PM, the train departed Wadala station. Golap was standing near the door of the train. As the train crossed the Wadala bridge, he accidentally hit a pole near the tracks and fell.
Passengers and Nikhil Bansode immediately noticed the incident and pulled the emergency chain. Railway police arrived at the spot and found that Golap had sustained severe head injuries and was declared dead on the spot.

Nikhil Bansode, while in tears, mentioned that Golap had recently returned from Kolhapur after attending his brother's wedding.
