Mumbai : On the occasion of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s birthday, ‘Good Governance day’ was celebrated in Mantralaya on Friday. A speech on ‘Stress free life’ was organised in the mini theatre of Mantralaya.
Well-known Yoga teacher and speaker, Ashok Deshmukh gave a lecture on Yoga practices and quick exercises people can perform to avoid physical and mental stress.
People working for long hours suffer from physical stress symptoms such as leg pain, back ache, varicose veins etc. To prevent this, Deshmukh suggested some simple physical movements. To avoid ailments such as acidity, heart problems, diabetes, insomnia etc., which are caused due to mental stress, he shared tips to lead a relaxed and hassle-free life.
The Maharashtra government’s general administration department had organised the event in association with Yashwantrao Chavan Development Academy. More than 50 officers from various departments of the Mantralaya attended the event.
