Maharashtra police arrest tuition teacher from Faridabad for allegedly kidnapping 13-year-old girl

The girl, a resident of Kalyan township in Thane, went missing on May 1. Later her family members filed a police complaint.

Thane's Titwala police on Monday along with Faridabad police arrested a private tutor from his residence in Faridabad through the geographical location system (GPS) after 20 days of the case of abduction of a 13-year-old student who was kidnapped from outside her house in Manda-Titwala area of Kalyan in Maharashtra.

According to the police officials, a private tutor in the Manda-Titwala area of ​​Kalyan kidnapped a 13-year-old girl on May 1 from outside her residence and took her to his native village.

Titwala police station Sub-Inspector Pankaj Patil said, "We could not trace the accused private tutor Lalit Chaudhary as his mobile phone was switched off for the past several days. 20 days later, we came to know that the GPS of the teacher's mobile was near Faridabad railway station in Haryana. We arrested the accused teacher from his residence with the help of Faridabad police."

Patil further added, "Chaudhary takes private tuitions in the Titwala area and the girl was a regular student of his. Chaudhary lured her into his love trap. She disappeared on May 1 when she was drying clothes in front of her house in the Titwala area. The family searched for her for twenty days, but she was nowhere to be found."

After the girl went missing, the family got information that Chaudhary has also been missing from Titwala since that day. The family members then lodged a complaint with the Titwala police station.

Meanwhile, Sub-Inspector Pankaj Patil of Titwala Police Station found out that Lalit's mobile was turned on and was located in Faridabad city of Haryana. Upon receiving this information, a team of Titwala police immediately went to Faridabad.

Police later tracked him through his mobile location and arrested him along with a minor girl from his residence. The accused teacher confessed to the crimes and informed the police that he had kidnapped the victim by seducing her with love.
