The Maharashtra government, in a reshuffle on Monday, transferred 15 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. Former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’ blue-eyed boy and former BrihanMumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) additional municipal commissioner Pravin Darade, IAS (1998), has been posted as the managing director, Maharashtra Small Scale Industries Development Corporation. His wife and former Food and Drugs Administration Commissioner Pallavi Darade, IRS (1997), has been posted as joint secretary, Home Department, Mantralaya (Appeal and Security). Further, Dr Ashwini Joshi, IAS (2006), has been given side posting and appointed as the managing director, Maharashtra Petrochemical Corporation Limited, Mumbai.
The state government has removed Dr Sudhakar Shinde, IRS (2007), from the post of chief executive officer, Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jan Arogya Yojana Society and appointed as deputy secretary, General Administration Department, Mantralaya. Dr Shinde had played a major role in the implementation of the state health insurance scheme for COVID-19 patients across the state and he had headed committees to recommend the capping of prices of its tests and ambulances. Shinde has been replaced by MB Warbhuwan, IAS (2010), as chief executive officer, Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jan Arogya Yojana Society, Mumbai.
Jayshree Bhoj, IAS (2003), managing director, Maharashtra Small Scale Industries Development Corporation has been posted as managing director, Maharashtra Information Technology Corporation. The state government has removed AB Inhale as the Food and Drugs Administration commissioner and replaced him with AR Kale, IAS (2005).
Dr MS Kalshetti, IAS (2007), has been posted as Director, Groundwater Survey Development Agency, Pune and RB Bhosale, IAS (2008), additional divisional commissioner, Pune Division has been posted as collector, Ahmednagar. HP Tummod, IAS (2008), has been posted as commissioner, Dairy Development and Dr KH Kulkarni, IAS (2009), has been posted as director, Municipal Administration, Mumbai.
Moreover, the state government has posted CK Dange, IAS (2010), as project director, MS AIDS Control Society and RS Kshirsagar, (appointment by promotion in IAS) additional Divisional Commissioner, Konkan Division, has been posted as chief executive officer, Zila Parishad, Ahmednagar. BB Dangade, (appointment by promotion in IAS) president, District Caste Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Raigad has been posted as the secretary, Fee Regulatory Authority, Mumbai and RK Gawade, (appointment by promotion in IAS) deputy commissioner (General), Nashik Division has been posted as the chief executive officer, Zila Parishad, Nandurbar.
