IRCTC Launches Weekly Rail Tour Packages From Mumbai To Pilgrimage & Heritage Destinations With Confirmed Train Tickets

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has unveiled an exciting range of weekly Rail Tour Packages with confirmed train tickets, connecting travelers from Mumbai to some of India’s most iconic pilgrimage and leisure destinations.

Mumbai: The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has unveiled an exciting range of weekly Rail Tour Packages with confirmed train tickets, connecting travelers from Mumbai to some of India’s most iconic pilgrimage and leisure destinations. These packages, offered by IRCTC’s West Zone (Mumbai), are designed to provide affordable, all-inclusive, and hassle-free travel experiences across the country.

"Currently, more than 10 tour packages are operational, covering spiritual destinations such as Vaishnodevi, Tirupati, Dwarka, Somnath, Shirdi, Kolhapur, Omkareshwar, Ujjain, and Mahakaleshwar. Leisure seekers can explore scenic and heritage-rich spots like Shimla, Manali, Kufri, Ajanta–Ellora Caves, Rajwada Palace in Indore, Gwalior Fort, Khajuraho Temples, and the New Palace Museum in Kolhapur" said an official.

Each package includes confirmed train tickets in Sleeper, 3AC, or 2AC classes, comfortable accommodation in deluxe hotels, air-conditioned vehicles for local sightseeing and transfers, meals as per the itinerary, travel insurance, and all applicable taxes.

"These tours are available in durations ranging from 1 Night / 2 Days to 7 Nights / 8 Days, catering to the varied travel preferences of pilgrims, families, and leisure travelers. Passengers can board from Mumbai as well as select en-route stations, offering added convenience" official further added.

“Our Rail Tour Packages are designed to offer seamless and value-for-money travel experiences,” said Gaurav Jha, Group General Manager, IRCTC West Zone. “With prices starting at just ₹8,599 per person on twin sharing basis, these tours are ideal for last-minute planners as bookings are available up to five days before departure.”

According to IRCTC, tour departures are scheduled throughout the week, ensuring flexibility for travelers. Packages can be booked through the official IRCTC tourism portal at www.irctctourism.com.
