Thane: On one hand the bodies of 21 people aboard a plane that crashed into the Himalayan mountainside in Nepal have been recovered and officials from the rescue operation team suspect that all have died, but 80 years old ailing mother of the Thane residents has not been informed about their death yet.

Vaibhavi's elder sister Sanjeevani Sadani, who is taking care of her 80 years old mother at home requested the police personnel who went to her place that they should not inform her mother about the death. She said that her mother is on a ventilator and she will not be able to bear the loss.

Sanjeevani Sadani fears that if her mother comes to know about the death of four family members then her health will deteroite further.

One of the members of the Rustomjee Athena society said, "Vaibhavi's elder sister has already got in touch with the Indian embassy in Nepal and she is waiting for the bodies to come in Thane."

The Twin Otter 9N-AET plane belonging to Tara Air took off at 10:15 am from Pokhara, and lost contact with the control tower 15 minutes later. The plane was later spotted in a state of burning at Laningchgola, an upper area of Larikota in Thasang Rural Municipality-2 in Mustang district.
