CM flags off 10 terrain vehicles, to be used by Mumbai Police for patrolling in Chowpatty

Mumbai: Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Monday flagged off state-of-the- art 10 ATV (All-Terrain Vehicles) vehicles for the Mumbai Police Force, especially for patrolling in Chowpatty area, for the safety of citizens and tourists in Mumbai.

The vehicles have been donated by the Reliance Foundation.

The Chief Minister’s Office in a statement said the ATV vehicles can be called an all-terrain vehicle and can be deployed to provide help in case of an emergency. These vehicles can ply on all surfaces such as soil, sand, swamp and sand. Four security personnel can patrol the vehicle.
