Delhi High Court on Thursday reserved its order for July 13 on Lakshmi Puri's petition against social media activist Saket Gokhale over his tweets questioning the sources of income of the ex-Envoy.

During the hearing, the High Court lashed out at Gokhle and asked whether any Tom, Dick and Harry can write anything, anytime on the internet to destroy someone's reputation?

Lakshmi Puri has served as Assistant Secretary-General at United Nations. She is the wife of Minister Hardeep Singh Puri.

Puri had moved the High Court through law firm Karanjawala & Co. law firm.

Shehad sent a legal notice to Gokhale following his tweets questioning as to how could Mrs Puri buy a house in Geneva, Switzerland with her then income.
