Congratulations on your exciting collaboration with Black Dog Scotch Whisky for the limited-edition Triple Gold Reserve (TGR). What does this partnership mean to you as designers, blending the worlds of fashion and fine spirits?
Thank you! This collaboration with Black Dog Scotch Whisky for the limited-edition Triple Gold Reserve is truly special to us. Today, collaborations allow two brands to come together and showcase their values in sync in a very exquisite way, and it’s been incredible working with a legacy brand like Black Dog, whose ethos resonates so strongly with our brand’s.
As a global fashion brand, this partnership also extends our ideology of presenting luxe offerings into a completely new medium. It’s an exciting opportunity to blend the worlds of fashion and fine spirits, creating something unique that reflects the refinement and craftsmanship both brands stand for!
Looking back at last year, which collaboration do you consider your most significant, and how do you envision 2025 shaping up for your brand?
Looking back at 2024, two collaborations stand out significantly for us. The first was our partnership with Hyundai for India Couture Week 2024, where we designed a car wrap for their IONIQ 5. It was an exciting experience that pushed our creativity into an entirely new space. We had so much fun exploring how our design aesthetics could be used to create something as dynamic as a car wrap.
The second was our collaboration with Swadesh for our Rang Mahal couture collection, also showcased at the India Couture Week. Swadesh—an initiative led by Mrs. Nita Mukesh Ambani—champions Indian crafts and textiles with immense pride and vision. It was a wonderful opportunity for us to work with Swadesh and experiment with textiles we hadn’t worked with before. The collection was a tribute to Indian heritage and craftsmanship, and the collaboration made it all the more meaningful.
As for 2025, it’s shaping up to be an exciting year! We have several store expansions planned and some brand extensions in the works that we’re eagerly looking forward to revealing.

Your designs have been worn by global icons like Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, and Katy Perry. What’s your creative approach when designing for such diverse and influential personalities?
Designing for global icons like Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, and Katy Perry is an incredible experience. Our creative approach always begins with understanding their personalities, style sensibilities, and, of course, the occasion and what they’re inclined towards wearing for that occasion.

Each of these women is a powerhouse in her own right, and our goal was to create designs that embodied that. We draw inspiration from their energy and charisma, ensuring that every detail—from the silhouette to the embellishments—aligns with their persona while reflecting our signature aesthetic of out-and-out glamour. Whether it’s crafting a statement-making look for a performance or a glamorous look or the red carpet, we have had a great time bringing their vision in our designs to life!
With the opening of your first ready-to-wear store in New Delhi's Dhan Mill, what inspired this expansion into the prêt-à-porter segment, and how does it stand apart from your couture line?
Opening our first ready-to-wear store at New Delhi's Dhan Mill was like going back to our roots. We actually began our journey with prêtwear and have always had a strong presence in advanced contemporary. During our initial years, we showcased this side of our brand at New York Fashion Week, LA Fashion Week, London Fashion Week, and more. However, about a decade ago, our focus shifted towards solidifying our presence in India through traditional couture, which led us to prioritise setting up Indian couture stores first.
Now, with our couture presence firmly established, it felt like the perfect time to return to the ready-to-wear segment and focus on its growth. This has always been part of our larger vision, and we’re excited to start bringing it to life.
What sets our ready-to-wear line apart is its distinct aesthetic. It brings edgy glam to the forefront, with a focus on contemporary style at a more accessible price point. Under our brand umbrella, each vertical has its own unique identity and signature elements, and all these lines continue to uphold that individuality.
What are your predictions for the fashion industry in 2025? Are there any emerging trends or shifts that excite you the most?
For 2025, we predict that menswear and streetwear will dominate as the ruling trends. These categories continue to evolve in exciting ways.
At Falguni Shane Peacock, we’re excited to bring fresh trends across all our brand extensions—be it ready-to-wear, couture, menswear, or our limited-edition pieces. Each label under our umbrella has its own distinct style, and we’re always exploring ways to innovate and redefine fashion within these categories. 2025 is going to be a year of creativity, and we can’t wait to introduce new collections that push the boundaries of design and set the tone and trends for what’s next in fashion.
