Ever since marrying Bollywood superstar Priyanka Chopra in 2018, Jonas, affectionately called “Nick Jiju” by Indian fans, has turned desi, and his food choices prove it.

In a recent interview with The Heart on YouTube, the 'This Is Heaven' singer revealed that his perfect night involves doing absolutely nothing, except ordering a feast of his favourite Indian dishes. “My job sort of requires that all the time,” Nick said about being out and about. “So when I can just sit on my couch and have my Dishoom, I’m happy.”
When asked about his go-to orders, the pop star didn’t hesitate to list a mouth-watering spread that would make any foodie smile. “Butter chicken, paneer, saag paneer, masala paneer, raita—we’ve got to have that—naan, chicken biryani. We place a big order and always overorder. But the key is the pickles. You’ve got to get the pickles with the order,” he shared.
Over the last six months, his routine has been simple: perform shows, head home, rest, and recharge. During the chat, he also added, “A quiet night in with good food delivery is far better than dealing with the chaos of going out and being surrounded by too many people."
With Priyanka being deeply connected to her Indian roots, it’s no surprise that the singer has been introduced to an array of authentic flavours. Whether it’s creamy gravies, aromatic biryanis, or tangy pickles, his love for Indian food is as wholehearted as his music career.
