Two polling agents expelled in Khargone

Khargone (Madhya Pradesh): Two polling agents present in polling station number 138 of Gogaon were expelled from the polling station for interfering in the voting process. Voting is being held in four janpads of Khargone district on Friday, under the three-tier panchayat elections.

The incident took place when district election officer Kumar Purshottam was on inspection of more than a dozen polling stations of Gogaon and Bhikangaon in the district, during which he observed that the agents were sitting at the polling station and talking to the voters with their slips.

Kumar directed joint collector BS Kanesh, polling officer and presiding officer on this issue and also guided the presiding officer to increase the speed of voting looking at the number of voters at the polling station.
