Mandsaur (Madhya Pradesh): Thousands of devotees joined the royal procession of Lord Pashupatinath in Mandsaur on the last Monday of Shravan. The silver eight-faced idol was worshipped and placed on a decorated chariot before the procession began from the banks of the Shivna river.
MP Sudhir Gupta, municipal council president Ramadevi Gurjar, collector Divyank Singh, superintendent of police Vinod Kumar and other public representatives and officials performed 'aarti' and pulled the chariot.
Drums, 'akharas' and tableaux accompanied the procession through the city's main roads, while organisations distributed 'prasad', food, water, tea and fruits to devotees.
After the procession passed, MLA Vipin Jain, his supporters and municipal sanitation workers swept the route and collected plastic and other waste. Jain's initiative was appreciated for spreading a message of cleanliness along with faith.
Collector, SP inaugurate royal procession
RATLAM: The Garh Kailash Seva Samiti’s royal procession was inaugurated on the last Monday of Shravan.
Collector Ajay Katesaria and SP Amit Kumar performed worship and aarti at Garh Kailash Temple, then lifted the deity’s palanquin. Temple committee members, Pradeep Upadhyay and numerous devotees participated with enthusiasm and devotion.
Over 5,000 join Kanwar Yatra
SENDHWA: More than 5,000 devotees joined the Lord Birsa Munda Kawad Yatra from Dhanora to Gupteshwar Mahadev, Kamod. Organised by the Scheduled Tribe Front of Barwani and Team Rallash Senani, the procession drew women, youth and senior citizens.
Kalusing Maharaj and Sumli Bai also participated. Organisers said the yatra promoted unity, social participation and religious faith.
2,100 devotees completes 40-kms
BAGH: The 34th annual Kawad Yatra received a grand welcome in Bagh, with 2,100 devotees from 67 villages participating. The pilgrims carried Narmada water from Meghnath Ghat, covering about 40 kilometres.
After an overnight stay in Bagh, they marched through the town on Monday amid chants of 'Har Har Mahadev'. Devotees later returned to their villages and offered Narmada water at temples.
First Grand Kanwar Yatra taken out
KUKSHI: Shri Brahmin Swarnakar Samaj Youth Organisation, Kukshi, organised its first grand Kanwar Yatra during Shravan.
Around 170 devotees participated, walking from Khakchowk Temple to Shri Barudeshwar Mahadev Temple, Loni, where they performed Jal-Abhishek with holy water amid Vedic chants.
Sunderkand Mitra Mandal takes out Kanwar Yatra
KHETIA: Sunderkand Mitra Mandal, Khetia, began its annual Kavad Yatra to Omkareshwar after collecting holy water from the Tapti River at Prakasha. More than 25 pilgrims are participating on foot.
The 12th annual yatra seeks regional peace, prosperity, good rainfall and agricultural growth, concluding with Omkareshwar Abhishek.
Grand procession marks Shravan finale
KHACHROD: The town witnessed a grand procession on the final Monday of Sawan from the ancient Shri Neelkantheshwar Mahadev Temple.
Lord Neelkanth was adorned with traditional decorations, while devotees joined with flags, music and religious performances. Rituals, aarti and prasad distribution were conducted along the procession route.

Garoth turns 'Shivamay' for Mahakal
GAROTH: Thousands of devotees joined Baba Mahakal's royal procession on the last Monday of Shravan in Garoth. Starting from Mahamrityunjay Mahadev Temple, the procession featured palanquins, tableaux, devotional performances and music.
Devotees showered flowers along the route. After the procession, Garoth Municipal Council sanitation workers quickly cleaned the roads. The procession concluded with 'aarti' and distribution of 'prasad'.
Former MLA Devi Lal Dhakad participated in the royal procession. At the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Square, MLA Chander Singh Sisodiya, Municipal Council president Rajesh Sethia, BJP Backwards Front district vice president Dinesh Patidar, Municipal Council vice president Mahesh Malviya and others were present.
